Elmsfield House was established in 1984 by Anne & Colin Wilson. Gary Wilson (their son) took on their legacy in 2006 and runs the home based on their founding principles of opening up their home and welcoming all into the Elmsfield family.

The biggest part of our family are our care team. We believe in investing in our people and ensuring they are able to provide one to one care that your loved ones need. We offer full nursing care and have a highly trained care team specialising in dementia care. We also have an activity coordinator, Judith, who’s sole responsibility is to ensure your loved ones have the option to participate in daily activities to stimulate their mind and body.

We constantly look to use the latest technologies and best care practices to improve the care we offer to loved ones. We believe in creating an environment that is stimulating and inclusive for all those who come to stay with us. Providing access to all areas of Elmsfield House and the surrounding gardens for all, recently enhanced by installing a lift to access all levels of the home.

Our latest care platform, Relatives Gateway™, enables you to stay connected with access to the daily care notes for your loved ones through an individual log-in so that you can keep up with their lives and progress.
